What a Comeback!
A couple of years ago Terry McFarlane broke his leg after being hit by a car while out on long Sunday run in February, after a long recovery Terry ran his first Marathon since the accident on Sunday. At the Prince Edward County Marathon he ran a great 3:33 which I beleive would also be a personal best. Great job Terry.
The results are Danny Churchward running a very impressive 3:40 and Sandra Lalonde coming in at 4:12. Well done everyone.
Another great accomplishment was Gayle Blackburn finishing 3rd in her age group in the half marathon 2:27 in the 60-69 age group.
