This past weekend was the first race in the southern Ontario 5 Peaks series. Durham Valley was a new venue and purportedly the "easiest" of the runs. While there were a few minor snags during the day it was offset by a spectacular setting and a day to match. Congrats to all the Barrie and area runners who participated and a clap on the back to Bill Lovett for taking 2nd in his age category! Also a special thanks to Greg McKinnon who came out just to support and take a few pics! Race two at Durham Forest on June 12 still has spots available but I am sure not for long.
Happy Trails :)
