A few Barrie RoadRunners competed in the Massey Marathon this weekend including Chris Dixon,Alan Hewson,John Beddome,John Mckee,Brian Lancia in the Marathon. In the Half Marathon there was Eric Jackson, Erik Thompson,Mimmi Thompson, Kerstin Thompson and Nancy Chong who was 1st in her age group Half Marathon. Also there was the non stop running maniac Chris Battaglia who ran the 56k Limberlost trail race on Saturday near Huntsville,and the Massey Full Marathon today, Sunday. Congrats to everyone, and Chris B, take a day off, take two!

A number of Barrie runners there.
I ran with Leeanne from Creemore. She dropped out at Limberlost to make it to Massey in the hope of a BQ. We leepfrogged the whole race (mostly me pushing her), but she got her BQ and helped me run a good pace, finishing in just under 4:11.
No races until the next 5 Peaks
