Hills, Hills and then some real hills

This past Saturday saw 5 of our group running (and a lot of walking) the Creemore Vertical Challenge. The name is very apt for this race as it seems that most of it is on hills that most normal people wouldn't attempt walking. But a good day was had by all with Oliver Owens (2:21) and Clarence Wang (2:45?) completing the 25k and Oliver itching for more. The 50k of torture saw Scott Whynot (5:34), Kevin O'Neill (4:52?) in 7th overall and 2nd in age and Keith Lascelles (4:48) 5th and 1st in age. A well organized race, all be it tough. And some nice swag at the end.
A good training run for the Jay Mountain Marathon in 3 weeks.
